Mick Foley has done a good job as the Raw general manager since the brand split. However, Foley has to undergo hip replacement surgery which means he needs some time off from television. He hinted about the Raw GM position is up for grabs in a recent post on social media.

As recapped by WWE.com, Mick Foley was under “performance evaluation” and Stephanie McMahon teased firing his Raw GM. The WWE is heading into WrestleMania season and it seems like they want to start fresh. Here are the five Raw GM candidates if Mick Foley leaves the WWE.

“The Rated-R Superstar” is most famous for being a SmackDown guy but he certainly can replace Mick Foley as the babyface GM of Monday Night Raw. He can appeal to both old and young fans and he keeps the position fresh.

Eric Bischoff

Why not? Eric Bischoff is one of the best authority figures in the history of professional wrestling. Bringing Bischoff back is a story itself with Stephanie McMahon bringing back Vince McMahon’s biggest enemies.

Paul Heyman

Heyman is one of the best talkers in the WWE today. If he becomes the Raw GM, he can surely sell any match even Titus O’Neil vs. Darren Young. Also, imagine the back and forth promos between him and Stephanie McMahon.

A definite wildcard is the lovely wife of Rusev, Lana. She certainly has the mic skills to pull off the Raw GM role like Vickie Guerrero. It will also benefit Rusev, who deserves a main event run, and become the new “ultimate opportunist.”

Triple H

The most logical choice to replace Mick Foley as Raw GM is Triple H. However, the WWE goes backward if they go with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon being in charge. But knowing the WWE, they’ll likely think that the fans already forgot the two-year reign of The Authority at the top.
