Stephanie McMahon has been absent from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) television for over a month now. The fourth-generation professional wrestling promoter was last seen in WrestleMania 33.
At ‘Mania 33, Stephanie McMahon sustained an injury in the match between Seth Rollins and Triple H. Rollins pushed Triple H into Stephanie and she fell onto a table. The injury angle is a kayfabe explanation for her absence over the next few weeks. The real reason behind her absence is a vacation in the Caribbean with her family.
The 40-year-old is expected to return on Monday Night Raw soon. Her vacation has now ended, and over these past few days, she has been doing media appearances in London, where Raw is being broadcast from this week.
However, Stephanie McMahon’s return to WWE television won’t be happening over the next seven days. The Raw episode for May 8 was pre-taped and Vince McMahon’s daughter did not appear on it.
Stephanie excited to work with Kurt Angle again
Stephanie’s return to Raw will provide an interesting dynamic between her and Kurt Angle. Angle became the general manager of WWE’s red brand in April. McMahon has not been on the show since Angle took over.
Stephanie McMahon recently revealed in an interview that she’s excited to work with Kurt Angle. She tagged Kurt as entertaining and funny.
“I can’t wait to work with Kurt. Kurt is so entertaining. He is really funny. I think it is going to be so much and hopefully having that interaction and this time the situation is a little bit different as I am the boss,” Stephanie said to The National.
Stephanie McMahon on her daughter’s WWE plans
WWE executives and on-screen talents Stephanie McMahon and Paul Triple H Levesque seemingly have decided to raise their three daughters off-camera. They do a really good job keeping Aurora, Murphy & Vaughn out of the public eye.
Stephanie McMahon recently appeared on This Morning to promote the latest episode of Raw that is set to air from the O2 Arena in London, England. In the interview, McMahon said that her oldest daughter aspired to become the WWE Women’s champion while her youngest wanted to marry John Cena.
“They (Stephanie’s children) do watch it, my oldest and youngest in particular. My oldest would love to be the women’s champion and my youngest wants to marry John Cena – so she needs to hurry up because he and Nikki Bella are now engaged. It is conflict resolution and the only difference is ours are settled in the ring in some great live action,” Stephanie explained.
The Billion Dollar Princess also said that she wouldn’t force her children into the wrestling business. The 40-year-old Stephanie McMahon, who has three children aged 10, 8 and 6 respectively.
