The Undertaker returning to World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) in 2016 has been confirmed. However the reason behind The Deadman’s return to the November 15th episode of SmackDown could be Shane McMahon.
The last time The Undertaker was seen inside the WWE ring was at WrestleMania 32, earlier this year. He faced Shane McMahon in a Hell in a Cell gimmick match. The Deadman came away with a victory from the historic encounter.

However, there was a stipulation attached to the match. If Undertaker was on the losing side, then he would never compete or make an appearance at the upcoming WrestleMania’s. But, if Shane McMahon lost, then we would be barred from gaining complete control of Monday Night RAW.
Despite Shane losing the match, WWE creative ignored the latter part of the stipulation and Vince McMahon’s son is still in control of SmackDown along with General Manager Daniel Bryan. This could have irked The Undertaker and it is being rumored to be the reason behind his appearance on SmackDown, according to Forbes.
The other possible reason is stated to be the 900th episode of WWE’s blue brand. Since The Undertaker has been associated with SmackDown for the major part of the later years in his professional wrestling career, the company wants him to be present on the big occasion.
The Undertaker return on WWE was announced on Twitter by Mohegan Sun Arena’s account. The arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania will host the historic 900th episode of SmackDown on November 15, 2016.
