WWE Clash of Champions 2016 will be on September 25, 2016 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Here are the latest rumors and updated match card for Monday Night Raw’s first brand-exclusive pay-per-view since the brand extension.

Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins for the WWE Universal Championship

Kevin Owens will be defending the WWE Universal title in the main event of WWE Clash of Champions 2016 against Seth Rollins. The match was made official in the latest episode of Raw by general manager Mick Foley.

However, Roman Reigns could be added to the match to make it a Triple Threat if he defeats KO in next week’s Raw. Expect interference in the Reigns vs. Owens match from either Triple H or Rusev to keep The Guy away from the main event picture.

Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the Raw Women’s Championship

Sasha Banks scared a lot of fans with her speech in this week’s Raw that was almost about her retirement. But thankfully, she announced that she will get her rematch against Charlotte for the Raw Women’s title at WWE Clash of Champions 2016.

On the other hand, Bayley got a win over the champ and she should receive a title shot. It would be very interesting to see how the WWE books Bayley now that Sasha is back to full health and Dana Brooke has been buried.

The New Day vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson for the Raw Tag Team Championships

According to Cageside Seats, there are plans for The New Day to drop the tag titles at WWE Clash of Champions 2016 against Gallows and Anderson. However, the WWE has to build up the credibility of the former three-time IWGP tag team champions first.

And they are not off to a great start this week on Raw. The former Bullet Club members, who are ass kickers in Japan, were put in a horrible, cringe-worthy segment with “The Old Day.” Booking Gallows and Anderson is really simple: Have them beat the crap out of every team.

There are only three official matches announced for WWE Clash of Champions 2016. Here some of the rumored matches that may take place in the event.

Rusev vs. Roman Reigns for the United States Championship

Rusev has been absent from television for two weeks to sell his rib injury but he really was just having a fun time at his wedding with the beautiful Lana. He is expected to be back next week and he should be looking for vengeance.

The U.S. champion can screw Roman Reigns out his chance to be added to the WWE Clash of Champions 2016 main event. Finally, there could be some interesting and meaningful story to book for the Reigns vs. Rusev feud.

Sheamus vs. Cesaro

Cesaro is down 0-3 against Sheamus in their Best of Seven series. However, it is expected that The Swiss Superman will come back and win the entire thing. There were several reports last month that the WWE will be pushing Cesaro.

With WWE Clash of Champions 2016 about three weeks away, this match could be Match No. 5 of the series with Sheamus up 3-1 heading to the event.

Bayley vs. Dana Brooke

Bayley is one of the top babyfaces in the company already and it would be foolish to not have her on the card. She will likely face and defeat Dana Brooke again at WWE Clash of Champions 2016. Where is Paige when you need her?
