WWE Hell in a Cell 2016 Final Match Card and Predictions
Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado & Sin Cara vs. Tony Nese, Drew Gulak & Ariya Daivari (Kickoff Match)
The Cruiserweight Division on Monday Night Raw has failed so the WWE is just putting up random matches. It is not enough for the superstars to be put on matches without a story because people will not care even though the matches are great.
The creative has to make a great effort in developing characters and storylines before the fans buy into the cruiserweights. Nevertheless, expect an entertaining Kickoff Match and a win by the faces to get the crowd in Boston going.
Prediction: Cedric Alexander, Lince Dorado & Sin Cara win via pinfall.
Bayley vs. Dana Brooke
Hey, it’s Bayley vs. Dana Brooke for the 374th time. The WWE has been very lazy since many are sick of seeing these two women face each other week in and week out. Bayley has won most of the time but Dana might win this one to keep the story going. Great job, WWE.
Prediction: Dana Brooke wins via pinfall.
Enzo Amore & Big Cass vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson
Two more superstars that the WWE has failed to develop are Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson. One of the most dominating tag team in Japan has been demoted to jobbers in the WWE. Enzo Amore and Big Cass are favorites of WWE’s top brass so expect them to easily win at WWE Hell in a Cell 2016.
Prediction: Enzo Amore & Big Cass win via pinfall.
The New Day (C) vs. Cesaro & Sheamus for the Raw Tag Team Championships
The world famous, two-time champs are just less than a couple of months away from breaking the record for the longest tag team title reign in WWE history. The pairing of Cesaro and Sheamus has potential but the WWE will not waste The New Day’s title reign just yet.
Prediction: The New Day retains the Raw Tag Team titles via pinfall.
TJ Perkins (C) vs. Brian Kendrick for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship
As mentioned earlier, the WWE has failed the cruiserweight division but that is not the case for TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick. The two stars have something to feud about with Kendrick playing the heel. Kendrick deserves a run at the cruiserweight title but Perkins needs a longer reign to establish the title.
Prediction: TJ Perkins retains the WWE Cruiserweight title.
Roman Reigns (C) vs. Rusev in a Hell in a Cell Match for the United States Championship
Roman Reigns and Rusev have been feuding for several months and this match will finally end it. Reigns has not been over as much as the WWE wants but they have to be more patient since he’s only been United States champion for less than a month.
There were rumors of Reigns losing the U.S. Title to Rusev at WWE Hell in a Cell 2016 because he will be inserted into the main event picture. However, Reigns surely will retain the title and he is expected to lead Team Raw at the Survivor Series.
Prediction: Roman Reigns retains the United States title.
Kevin Owens (C) vs. Seth Rollins in a Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Universal Championship
The WWE Universal championship has taken a step back on television to make way for Chris Jericho’s list of stupid idiots. It makes Raw’s main title irrelevant but thanks to Jericho’s brilliance, it makes this feud watchable.
However, the WWE has to stop with all the stupid booking and just do a better job making people care about the championship. Owens has the potential to be a huge heel and they should book him like how NXT books Samoa Joe. I see KO retaining the title with Triple H appearing at WWE Hell in a Cell and screwing Rollins once again.
Prediction: Kevin Owens retains the WWE Universal Championship
Sasha Banks (C) vs. Charlotte Flair in a Hell in a Cell Match for the Raw Women’s Championship
Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair are making history by being the first female main event and Hell in a Cell Match ever. Hell in a Cell Matches are usually reserved to end feuds and this match certainly will end the Banks-Flair rivalry, for now.
The two women have excellent chemistry together but they have to be very careful since Hell in a Cell is a new and dangerous environment. The women can steal the show as they continue to prove that the women are taking over wrestling.
Prediction: Sasha Banks retains the Raw Women’s title.
