Hulk Hogan was released from the WWE after a racist rant on an audio from his sex tape that was leaked last year. The WWE seems to be ready to accept him back next year but Kevin Sullivan insisted in a recent podcast the Hogan was racist back in the day.
Kevin Sullivan says Hulk Hogan used the N-word back in the day
On the latest episode of the MSL & Sullivan podcast, Kevin revealed that it was not the only time Hogan used the N-word. He mentioned that the Hulkster said the N-word multiple times when they were hanging out together.
“Well here’s the thing, and I don’t give a s— what Hulk says, this wasn’t a one-time only insinuation using the N-word. He said it a couple of times to me about who I was hanging out with back in the day,” Sullivan said.
The WWE teasing Hulk Hogan appearance
After more than a year of banning Hogan, his name or anything about him, the WWE looks ready to give him another chance. Michael Cole recently said Hogan’s name on live television at the Roadblock: End of the Line PPV, per The Sun.
It shocked many fans watching, causing the internet to catch fire. It has led to a lot of speculations since Brooke Hogan claimed that his father is returning at WrestleMania. Also, Hogan’s voice was recently used in an advertisement at the WWE Network.
Bring back Hulk Hogan is bad for business, says Kevin Sullivan
Sullivan also insisted that bringing Hogan back to the WWE is bad business. He noted that they are publicly traded company and they should not be associated with a racist. He also pointed out the backlash they will get from anti-Donald Trump people.
“They certainly don’t want to offend the black vote in this country, because believe it or not, Trump got a lot more support from them than anyone expected, and Vince being the family man he is, he isn’t going to take a chance with another mistake with Hulk. After all, he has a direct line to the President-elect of the United States,” Sullivan said.
