Lately, Chris Jericho has regained his foothold as one of the WWE’s premier stars after what some analysts considered an obsolescence in his role, coming in to his return at Royal Rumble. But Jericho has put all naysayers and doubters to rest, pulling off a total 180 in terms of his popularity, his career and creativity.

Some fans have even compared his current run to one of the WWE’s greatest rivalries, when Jericho was going toe to toe with Shawn Michaels. And with Jericho’s current level of popularity, one question that has been bugging fans is, how long is Chris Jericho planning to keep this up?

According to a recent interview, he is taking one month at a time.

“I will tell you this, my original plan when I came back last January was to stay until WrestleMania, four months,” the wrestler shared during an interview with The LAW: Live Audio Wrestling. “Then, it started going so good, I re-signed I think until July and then I re-signed until October and then I re-signed until November. Now it’s basically a month by month thing.”

But from the looks of it, Chris Jericho is still enjoying his current success with the WWE especially the work that he has been doing with the current generation of wrestlers.

“I love working with Owens and Rollins and Reigns and Sami Zayn and Dean Ambrose and AJ. Those guys are re-invigorating my love for the business because I have been through a lot of generations of the business,” Jericho added during his interview. “Also, keep this in mind, my generation of guys, as sad as it is to say this, my best friends have either passed away or retired so now I have this whole new group of guys who it starts with a little bit of hero worship, that’s great but now let’s get down to it, just start working and having some fun.”

Hopefully they do, for a lot more years to come.
