WWE NXT TakeOver: Toronto Rumors

Many fans are waiting for Shinsuke Nakamura to be called up to the main roster. However, he is expected to retain the NXT championship and stay at developmental for several more months, per Give Me Sport.

The rivalry between Nakamura and Samoa Joe is expected to end at this TakeOver event with Joe possibly being called up after Survivor Series. General manager Daniel Bryan has expressed his interest in bringing The Samoan Submission Machine to SmackDown Live. It very well could happen, especially if he loses this Saturday.

On the other hand, Triple H revealed in a conference call (h/t Cageside Seats) that Mickie James is originally scheduled to face Asuka. There were some reports that Mickie was just a backup for Trish Stratus but The Game denied it.

According to Wrestle Zone, a Six-Woman Tag Team match might be added to the WWE NXT TakeOver: Toronto Card. Aliyah, Ember Moon and Liv Morgan vs. Peyton Royce, Billie Kay and a partner of their choosing is being considered as an additional match for the event.
