World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Hall of Famer Lita (Amy Dumas) recently expressed her opinion on the Hardy Boyz Return. Matt and Jeff Hardy were Lita’s former tag-team partners at WWE until their eventual split in 2005. This resulted in a sour relationship between both the parties.

Lita’s history with the Hardy Boyz resulted in speculation among the fans regarding whether the issues still existed between both the sides. Dumas took notice of the issue and explained on Twitter that there were no such problems.

No rift between Lita and the Hardy brothers

Lita wished The Hardy Boyz all the best for their WWE careers. This ended any potential rift between herself and Matt and Jeff Hardy.

The Hardy Boyz and Lita rose to prominence in professional wrestling in a tag-team alliance known as Team Xtreme. The team was formed back in 2000 saw Lita and Matt getting involved in a real-life relationship. However, both the superstars separated in 2005 with Lit allegedly cheating on Matt with fellow WWE superstar Edge (Adam Copeland.)

WWE bounced on the situation to use the Matt-Lita-Edge love triangle in their on-screen storylines. It ran for the better part of the months that followed. The Hardy Boyz and Lita distanced themselves after that and never worked together again.

Meanwhile, Lita has recently come out of retirement from professional wrestling. She quit her analyst job with the WWE and made her in-ring return for an MCW Pro Wrestling event in Joppa, Maryland on March 3, 2017.

Fans eager to see Drew McIntyre’s latest run in WWE

The Hardy Boyz made their surprise WWE return from TNA at WrestleMania 33. They are presently the reigning WWE RAW tag-team champions and have been accepted well by the WWE universe.

Meanwhile, another wrestler chose to leave TNA’s Impact Wrestling with the Hardy brothers. Drew MacIntyre chose to part ways with his former employers and rejoin WWE in the same week as Jeff and Matt Hardy.

However, Drew did not join the main roster as the Hardy Boyz. He will begin his WWE journey again by working in NXT. The return from McIntyre calls for exciting times for the fans. The superstar is scheduled to appear on this week’s episode on NXT.

It will be interesting to see how Drew’s latest run with WWE pans out. The 31-year-old has only signed a one-year-deal with the wrestling promotion.
