Roman Reigns has been booed by fans more times than he can count despite being billed as a good guy. In a recent interview, the two-time WWE champion says that he has a lot of fans that support him but can’t explain the hate he’s been receiving from most WWE audience.
“I do know I have a lot of supporters. These people have my back. There’s nothing that anybody can say negatively to me that will make me believe you are correct. It’s just your opinions,” Reigns told the Kingston Whig-Standard.
He said that he knows his fans are there to support him, inside or outside the arena. Reigns added that he has supporters on social media and is happy to take them along on his journey to the top.
However, the 30-year-old WWE superstar has a hard time knowing why certain fans just hate him. He mentioned that it’s a tough question because there are many possible reasons.
“There is no one reason why someone would want to boo me. Maybe they don’t like what I wear, how I sound, maybe I did something to offend them, but for me, it’s hard because I’m under the microscope and I’m dealing with a lot of different things and there’s a lot of things flying my way,” Reigns added.
He also mentioned that he’s just doing his job as Roman Reigns. He is there to make sure he’s healthy and in top shape as well as being a professional. He is just happy to perform in front of the fans and give his energy to crowd whether they like him or not.
Roman Reigns will challenge Triple H for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at the main event of the WrestleMania 32. He is looking to become a three-time WWE champion and fulfill his destiny as the next face of the company.
