The 2017 Royal Rumble is expected to be one of the biggest events of the year. It will have a lot of big names like Bill Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. Here is SportsRageous’ list of the five greatest Royal Rumble performers of all time.


“The Big Red Machine” has not won a Royal Rumble Match in his career. However, Kane holds the record for most Rumble appearances with 19 and the most number of career eliminations with 44. He has also lasted for a total of three hours, 38 minutes and 46 seconds in his career which is good for fourth all-time.

The Undertaker

The Undertaker is expected to enter the 2017 Royal Rumble Match and he will announce it on the Jan. 9, 2017 episode of Monday Night Raw. “The Deadman” has appeared on a total of 10 Rumble Matches in his career and he has won one.

The 51-year-old legend has also eliminated a total of 35 superstars which ranks fourth all-time. He has also produced several great Rumble moments like the time he massacred Maven and the showdown with Shawn Michaels in 2007.

Triple H

“The Game” is one six superstars to have won the Royal Rumble more than once. He won the 2002 and 2016 Rumble Matches with last year being for the WWE world championship. He has lasted for an hour in one Rumble Match in 2006 while holding the record for the longest cumulative time spent in the Royal Rumble at three hours, 59 minutes and 37 seconds.

Shawn Michaels

Just like Triple H, Shawn Michaels has won the Royal Rumble match twice and the first to ever do it in back-to-back years. Michaels won in 1995 and 1996 while also recording the most number of total eliminations in Rumble history with 39. He has appeared in a total 12 Rumble matches throughout his career.

Stone Cold Steve Austin

“The Texas Rattlesnake” is the greatest Royal Rumble performer in WWE history. He won the Rumble match three times in his career and he could have won his fourth one in 1999. He has only appeared in six Rumble matches but he has eliminated a total of 36 superstars.
