The Broken Hardy Brothers are two of the most entertaining superstars at the moment, especially Broken Matt Hardy, but many fans are still waiting for their return to the WWE. The latest rumors imply that Broken Matt and Broken Brother Nero are close to making a comeback to the biggest wrestling promotion in the world.
For those who do not know how the Broken characters came to be, it’s just basically Matt Hardy going crazy and becoming “broken.” The same thing happened to Jeff, who got broken during his feud with his older brother that culminated in The Final Deletion match in the Hardys’ compound in North Carolina.
On the other hand, the WWE has been looking to add veteran superstars to their roster after the brand split. Signing Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero would be a great move for the company but they are still signed with TNA Wrestling.
However, the WWE might be on the verge of buying out TNA Wrestling from majority owner, Dixie Carter. According to Wrestle Zone, Vince McMahon is one of four potential buyers of the wrestling company.
In a recent post on Twitter, Broken Matt Hardy revealed that he had a premonition wherein he saw where he will be on Monday Nights. Although it could be Matt playing the fans, rumors swirling around suggest that it means he will make an appearance on Raw in the future.

However, a recent interview with Sports Illustrated suggested that Broken Matt Hardy does not trust Vince McMahon giving them the freedom with their new characters. He added that he is currently happy working on TNA Wrestling and other independent promotions.
“I am very content at Impact Wrestling. I don’t know if I trust that Meekmahan, or if he’ll try to stifle my broken brilliance. I’m able to live in my broken universe here at Impact Wrestling to the fullest extent, and Impact Wrestling needs me as their savior, so I’ll do everything I can to help them grow,” Broken Matt said.
In the same interview, Brother Nero said that he does now want to return to the WWE if it is a full-time schedule. He also prefers getting some creative control with his character, as well as wrestling only on a part-time basis.
“When you commit to a WWE contract, you’re committing to some serious time away from home. If it were under my terms, there might be a chance, but I’m really not sure,” Brother Nero said.
