WrestleMania season is fast approaching and there are a lot of dream matches that might happen next year. The latest WWE rumors suggest that Roman Reigns will get his hands on current UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor.
In a recent article on WWE.com, the WWE teased a matchup between the United States champion and McGregor. There was no mention of WrestleMania 33 but a match of this magnitude should only happen at the Grandest Stage of Them All.
“Although McGregor would have the edge in the striking, speed and submission categories, Reigns would possess the size, strength and reach advantages. Those would (maybe) be enough for The Big Dog to keep The Notorious One down, but either way, it would be an event,” the report noted.
It should be noted that Conor McGregor called out the entire WWE roster on Twitter and one of the furious superstars was Roman Reigns. After that Tweet, a lot of WWE rumors surfaced regarding a possible WrestleMania 33 appearance for “Notorious.”
I didn’t mean no disrespect to the @wwe fans. What I meant to say was that I’d slap the head off your entire roster. And twice on Sunday’s.

Many fans believe that the UFC will have to pay back Brock Lesnar’s UFC 200 appearance by lending one of their top stars like Conor McGregor or Ronda Rousey. Either way, the WWE will benefit from having a big name like McGregor or Rousey and it is going to help sold out the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Conor McGregor is currently training for his fight against Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205. On the other hand, Roman Reigns will be defending his United States title against Rusev in a Hell in a Cell Match at the event of the same name.
