Many wrestling fans can’t seem to like Eva Marie as they boo her out of the building more than Roman Reigns. However, the latest WWE rumors suggest that fans will hate her more because she is in line for a huge push.

According to PW Mania, top WWE officials view Eva Marie as one of the future faces of the women’s division on SmackDown. The company reportedly believes she has the ideal look of a female superstar and she will be involved in major storylines going forward.

In this week’s episode of SmackDown Live, Eva Marie was scheduled to take on Becky Lynch but she suffered an injury and the match was canceled. It should be noted that it was just a storyline and Eva was not legitimately hurt.

It was also announced that SmackDown will have its own women’s championship. According to Ring Talkk, the WWE could make Eva Marie the first ever women’s champion of the “New Era.” It is suggested that Eva will continue feigning an injury every time she wrestles to get her more heat.

The report noted that all the female superstars on SmackDown will likely compete in a Battle Royal to crown the brand’s women’s champion. One of the fantasy bookings that can happen is Eva Marie getting out of the ring and showing up at the last second to eliminate Becky Lynch or Natalya.

However, these are just WWE rumors but the company is really high on Eva Marie despite how the fans hate her. The 31-year-old is a heat magnet and heels make money while also continuing to improve in the ring.

Many fans will be outraged if Eva Marie ends up winning the women’s title at the expense of Becky Lynch. But if you look at the positive side, Becky going after the championship is a much better story and a must-see TV.
