Finn Balor and Seth Rollins will face each other for the first time ever at SummerSlam to crown the first ever WWE Universal Champion. According to the latest WWE rumors, the favorite to win the match and the Universal title has been revealed.

5 Dimes Sportsbook (h/t WWE Leaks) listed Rollins as the slight favorite over Balor in their much-anticipated match at SummerSlam. The Architect is a -195 favorite to defeat The Demon, who is a +155 underdog.

Despite the betting odds favoring Seth Rollins, the WWE have already teased Finn Balor as the winner of the match. In a recent interview with, Balor was asked how he feels about being called “The Face of the Future.”

“That’s a very flattering moniker, to be called the face of the future, and hopefully, I can live up to that. But for me, you know, it’s my past, present and hopefully my future. Wrestling is my life. So for me, it’s not just the future. It’s literally everything I do,” Balor said.

According to Cageside Seats, WWE Chairman Vince McMahon and NXT head honcho Triple H are leaning towards giving Finn Balor the win at SummerSlam. The Demon becoming the first ever WWE Universal Championship is a great way to kick off the “New Era.”

The WWE wanted Roman Reigns to become that guy but he failed a drug test which led to his demotion to the midcard. Nevertheless, the WWE cannot go wrong with Balor or even Rollins as the face of the company going forward.
