Recently, there has been growing speculation that WWE fans may get to see a Goldberg vs the Undertaker match at WrestleMania 33 next year despite reports of the Deadman’s seemingly season-ending surgery.

Officially, Goldberg is already confirmed to face Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series, and rumor has it that execs will base their plans for the WWE star based on the response they will get from fans. At present, it does seem that the response will be good.

Which only means that there really is the possibility of a Goldberg vs the Undertaker match at WrestleMania 33. According to Blake Oestreicher of Forbes, fans can expect either a three-way match or bout with the Deadman, should he be a hundred percent of that time.

“It’s possible a three-match program with Lesnar, or a match with Undertaker provided Undertaker returns at WrestleMania,” wrote Oestreicher. “As Undertaker told everyone after last year’s show that it was his final match, (this) could be a big match at WrestleMania.”

He even shared a Tweet to hype up the possible fight.

Pro wrestling booker John LaRocca also offered his own insights on how a Goldberg vs the Undertaker match can become a reality, creating hypothetical scenarios that may lead to the currently unconfirmed fight.

According to LaRocca, the upcoming Goldberg vs Lesnar match should see the Beast Incarnate winning convincingly, leaving the future of Goldberg open to other possible matches in the future. Enter the Undertaker who can face Goldberg at Royal Rumble 2017, wherein both wrestlers can eliminate each other carrying their brawl even outside the ring. Finally, their fight will climax at WrestleMania 33 where the Undertaker will finally end his career with a win over Goldberg.

“Undertaker pins Goldberg after hitting his trademark Tombstone pile-driver,” shared LaRocca according to his fantasy feud involving the two WWE stars. “To me, there should be no question that Undertaker should be the one that gets his hand raised here as a win over Goldberg continues to add to his legendary career.”

But again, this is IF the Undertaker recovers from all his health problems.

Either way, we would all love to see him put the final nail on his WWE career in an epic fight against Goldberg.
