Matt and Jeff Hardy, more famously known as The Hardy Boyz, have been out of the WWE for more than five years. According to the latest WWE rumors, a greatest matches DVD for The Hardy Boyz is in the works which could lead to a return for Matt and Jeff to the company.

Jeff first left WWE in August 2009 due to a number of injuries including Restless Leg Syndrome while Matt was released over a year later in October 2010. They have been with TNA Wrestling ever since teaming up and recently feuding with each other.

The WWE recently issued a survey to gauge the fans interest for upcoming DVDs and one of them is for The Hardy Boyz. It’s still unsure whether the WWE will make the DVD but if it’s based on fan votes, Matt and Jeff are two of the most popular superstars in the company’s history.

“The Hardy Boyz, Matt and Jeff, were born to wrestle, starting in their early days jumping on a trampoline to ultimately rising through the ranks of WWE. Matt and Jeff are the perfect combination of high flying and ground attack that dazzled the WWE Universe. Their matches were legendary, now you get a chance to own them,” the description said via Wrestling News Source.

Other names included in the survey are Stephanie McMahon, Shane McMahon, Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns, Goldberg, The Rise of NXT, The Best of 1997 and Masters of the Mic. The possible release of the DVDs picked will be sometime in 2017.

As for The Hardy Boyz return to WWE, it is still very much possible as both stars have teased and indicated in several interviews that they are very open to working there again. They made their names in the WWE and they want to end their careers there.
