The WWE brand extension is less than three weeks away and there are surprise plans in place for the event. According to the latest WWE rumors, one of those plans is bringing back Paul Heyman to television and introducing new Paul Heyman Guys.

The Advocate of Brock Lesnar has not appeared on WWE television since his client defeated Dean Ambrose at WrestleMania 32. Eric Arrington of Daily Wrestling News reports that top officials are thinking of bringing back Heyman before SummerSlam.

It is not just about hyping Brock Lesnar’s match at SummerSlam but also for the brand extension. The WWE is reportedly planning to put one or two superstars with Heyman to become the new Paul Heyman Guys.

The report noted that it is in serious consideration but it will possibly come down to the 50-year-old manager’s schedule. He mentioned in a previous interview that he likes working part-time and he is not interested in being a full-time talent whether as an on-screen general manager or part of the creative team.

It should be noted that being a manager for a wrestler would require him to work and travel. However, Heyman could discuss working televised events only, and not on house shows and live events. His presence with an up and coming wrestler can help him or her get credibility.

Some of the known Paul Heyman Guys besides Lesnar include Cesaro, Curtis Axel, Ryback, CM Punk, Kurt Angle, Hardcore Holly, Big Show, Sabu and Rob Van Dam. Of course, not all of them are successful but it helps being managed by Heyman.
