The Undertaker made his triumphant return to SmackDown Live after seven months of absence from WWE television. The latest WWE rumors have revealed the possible plans for The Undertaker following Survivor Series and heading into the Royal Rumble.

The Phenom announced that he will no longer be known for his WrestleMania legacy and he is ready to hunt other superstars once again. He warned the members of Team SmackDown that he will punish the one who cost them the win at Survivor Series.

According to Cageside Seats, the current plan for The Undertaker is to feud with whoever costs Team SmackDown the win at Survivor Series. There are two possible scenarios happening with A.J. Styles attacking Dean Ambrose or The Wyatt Family not giving a damn about the match.

If Styles indeed cost Team SmackDown the match, he will reportedly face The Undertaker moving forward, possibly at the Royal Rumble. WWE rumors backstage imply that top officials are playing with the idea of The Undertaker winning the WWE World Championship at the Royal Rumble.

It will then lead to John Cena winning the Rumble and challenging The Undertaker for the title at WrestleMania 33. Cena will then go over the match as he wins the WWE World Championship for the 16th time while also retiring The Undertaker.

On the other hand, the second scenario is The Undertaker teaming up with Kane in taking on The Wyatt Family. WWE rumors this past couple weeks suggest that The Deadman will face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 33.

According to The Inquisitr, these are the two plans the WWE has in place for The Undertaker. Nevertheless, fans should expect the 51-year-old legend to have a match at WrestleMania 33 in what could be his retirement match.

But it should be noted that these are just WWE rumors at the moment and everything could change after Survivor Series. Vince McMahon tends to change plans especially if it gets online and the internet ruins the surprise results.
