John Cena is set to return from his shoulder injury in the Memorial Day episode of Monday Night Raw on May 23. The latest WWE rumors suggest that the current plan being talked about for Cena is to have him face Roman Reigns at SummerSlam in August.

According to Cageside Seats, John Cena vs. Roman Reigns is rumored to be the main event match for this year’s biggest event of the summer. If this is indeed the plan for both superstars, it is likely that Reigns will be coming in as the WWE World Heavyweight champion.

Reigns are currently in a very entertaining feud with A.J. Styles, who he will face this Sunday at Extreme Rules. He defends his WWE World title in an Extreme Rules match but it may end with the champ retaining his belt.
