WWE Rumors : Seth Rollins to return at SummerSlam

By on

With Wrestlemania 32 just around the corner, people are already talking about SummerSlam. The WWE pay-per-view event is perhaps one of the most anticipated in years due to the return of injured stars such as John Cena, Randy Orton, Cesaro, and most notably, Seth Rollins.

Back in November of 2015, former WWE World Heavyweight Seth Rollins was forced to relinquish his title due to a nasty knee injury he suffered while in a match against Kane in Dublin, Ireland. As a result, he was sidelined for six to nine months.

Originally, he was to be out for six to nine months but the former Shield member has been rehabbing and his recovery was ahead of schedule. That time, there was no timeframe of his return until now. The rumor of his impending return is getting clearer since Rollins is now included in the travel package of SummerSlam.

While he will not make it to Wrestlemania 32, Seth is good to go for SummerSlam. In fact, he is not the only one who will return from injury. John Cena, considered as the face of the WWE, is also set to return from injury. He has been out of action since January. Cena will also miss Wrestlemania 32 in April but is raring to go back to the ring in time for summer.

Seth Rollins was a dominant force in the WWE prior to his injury. Aside from the World Heavyweight Championship, he also once held the United States Championship. He was slated to meet another former Shield member Romain Reigns in Survivor Series.

Before he temporarily left the company to recuperate, Rollins vowed to win back the title that he did not actually lost. Roman Reigns and Triple H are slated to highlight Wrestlemania 32 as they battle for the World Heavyweight Championship. This makes Rollin’s return to action even more exciting.

Will the postponed Reigns vs Rollins match for SummerSlam finally push through? Or will we see Rollins battle his former boss Triple H for the title. All these questions will be answered leading up to SummerSlam.
